Synaptic Systems in the times of COVID-19

Dear Sigismund Huck,

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, we are committed to the safety and well-being of our team, our customers, and partners worldwide. We take our responsibility to you seriously and have implemented multiple measures to keep people as safe and healthy as possible. All our products are produced In-House, so we have full control over every item. We are focused on providing you the same service as you are accustomed from us, and we will try to process and ship orders as usual. Our technical and customer support will also remain unchanged.

Despite these turbulent times, we have added new products to our portfolio. We now offer a new polyclonal rabbit anti-DAP4 antibody with superior results in ICC applications. DAP4, a scaffolding protein also termed Dlgap4 or SAPAP-4, interacts with guanylate kinase and synaptic adaptor proteins like shank at the postsynaptic density.

Additionally, we have broadened our family of recombinant antibodies with 2 new members. First, I want to present a new monoclonal Guinea pig anti-VGAT antibody based on our very successful monoclonal mouse anti-VGAT clone 117G4, and then, another chimeric antibody, the monoclonal rabbit antibody against Glycine receptor alpha 1 based on the well-known monoclonal mouse anti-GlyR alpha1 clone mAb2b.

We also now offer a new monoclonal rat anti-CD4 antibody which will give exceptionally good results in IHC-P (FFPE) applications in mouse tissues, a polyclonal rabbit antibody against the active zone protein RIM 1/2, and a polyclonal Guinea pig antibody against DOPA decarboxylase, the second enzyme in the biosynthesis of catecholamine neurotransmitters, also known as AADC or DCC.
