New ELFN1 antibody with excellent results in WB and ICC applications ELFN1, extracellular leucine-rich repeat and fibro nectin-III domain containig protein 1 also called Ppp1r28, is a post-synaptic cell adhesion protein that regulates circuit dynamics in the CNS by modulating the temporal dynamics of interneuron recruitment. Specifically enriched in excitatory synapses onto oriens-lacunosum molecular (OLM) interneurons. ELFN1 is also thought to play a role in cone photoreceptor wiring.
